Permit Report offers the following additional services when ordering either a Residential or Commercial Report: Zoning Report, Geo/Soils Report, Sewer Report, and Violations of Record(s) Search.

The length of time depends on the local municipality in which the subject property is located and on how large the files are for each property. Residential orders for properties located within the City of Los Angeles will be completed and delivered within 2 to 4 business days and 3 to 5 business days for Commercial Reports. Most orders for properties located outside the City of Los Angeles will be completed and delivered within 5 to 10 business days, however we can not guarantee the exact time of delivery. You will receive an email notification from our system letting you know when your report is ready to be viewed (please check your junk mail box for this email).  You can log into your account using your username and password and click on My Account. Then click on “orders”   to view all of your current and past reports. You will have access to download the report at any time.

In order to cancel your Permit Report, your report must not yet have been completed and uploaded to our system, and it must been less than 24 hours from the time you ordered your report. If the prior two instances are true, then you can cancel your order by logging into your account and clicking on “orders.” If it’s been less than 24 hours, you will find a “cancel” button next to the current order. However, if it’s been longer than 24 hours, then the cancel button will not be available.

Please make sure to include the subject property address in this email. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for further details about the cancellation fee. 

As is it not required to order a Permit Report to close escrow, it is required that the seller and agent disclose to the buyer everything on the subject property that has been built to code and has been legally permitted. 

Yes, for residential properties located in the City of Los Angeles, we will honor request for rush service for an additional $40 fee. If you have a rush request, please check on the Rush Request option box on the order page. Reports will be delivered within 24 hours of placing rush request.

Your credit card is required at the time of placing an order.

Once the research for your report has been completed, your credit card will be charged.  Once the payment is received, you can access your report directly from your account and it will be available for download at any time. 

Once your report is complete, you can access the invoice directly from your account. 

You can find your reports by logging  onto your account using your username and password. Click “My Account” up on the right top corner. Then click “orders” and a list will appear with all of your report history.
